Nuggets from the past

lutherI've been reading some Luther today and I had forgotten just how clear, to the point and profound he is. Here are a couple of his propositions in his Heidelberg Disputation:

 

No. 25

He is not righteous who does much, but he who, without work, believes much in Christ.

No. 26

The law says, " do this," and it is never done. Grace says, "believe in this," and everything is already done.
